i find it curious that "found footage" is considered a genre – i see it as more as a technique or style, like "animation" – found footage can be supernatural, zombie, gore etc
are there any found footage horror-comedies? – start would be cool
I also read that list and went 'huh' at Found Footage. I've seen that for psychological horror, comedy horror, cult/monster horror, and of course for supernatural horror.
I broadly write supernatural horror, but I often have social commentary themes in there. While I broadly know where I fit, I don't use genres as much of a starting point when writing - I follow the inspiration.
